Paris Fashion Week

I was fortunate to visit Paris during Paris Fashion Week last October 2021.

It was a last minute trip (yes, during Fashion Week it might not be the best idea), luckily everything turned out wonderfully.

The first country I visited was Spain, and my flight arrived in Madrid to see a relative. I was one day in beautiful Madrid (sleeping most of the day due to jetlag), and the next day I was already flying to the city of Fashion, Paris.

My destination airport was Paris-Orly. The city welcomed me with a sunny day and a warm climate (rare for the season). My afternoon consisted of walking through the beautiful streets of Paris; I stayed in a hotel very close to the Eiffel Tower, with a very Parisian style and an amicable treatment. I think the area was the best because you could find cafes, bakeries, wine bars, and beautiful places on the outskirts of the hotel.

I remember a Nutella crepe and a spectacular coffee that I enjoyed in a restaurant on ‘45 avenue de la Bourbonnais ’called ‘Lechampdemars ’. I remember that I felt very different but great. I looked a little suspicious with my bucket hat being at night. That night was bizarre but beautiful, some children passed by the street, and they told me that they liked my hat (bucket hat), haha I think that accessory marked my visit to the city a lot. The Eiffel Tower is magnificent at night. I saw any picnics late at night enjoying the moment.

The next day, very early, I remember walking towards 'Arc de Triomphe', a great French symbol, located on 'Avenue des Champs-Élysées'.

My surprise was to see the new temporal facet of the place since it was covered entirely with fabrics. I had no idea that I was standing before a historical event since this work only had permission for a couple of weeks. It was only then that the permits and others were obtained for it to be carried out. The artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude had the dream of seeing this work live alive. I'm sure wherever they are safe, and they were pleased to see this beautiful event come to fruition.

During my days in Paris, I visited the beautiful restaurant, Le Train Bleu, located at the Gare de Lyon train station. The place has a beautiful history, and the classic, Parisian style caught me from my entrance to the site: the exquisite food, the excellent treatment, and the phenomenal atmosphere. I highly recommend it for an afternoon meal, and if you want to indulge yourself on your trip to Paris, it feels like having lunch in a museum! 10/10.

It was a pleasure to meet a beautiful influencer friend during my visit to the restaurant. For me, it is very emotional to meet creative people in other parts of the world.

Thank you, Paris, for those beautiful memories and for reminding me that nothing is impossible.
