Celebrity Cruises

Blog post in collaboration with Celebrity Cruises. All thoughts, words and photography are my own.

Last month I was on board the fantastic Celebrity Millennium from the renowned brand Celebrity Cruises.

ITINERARY

7 Ports | 3 Sea Days

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The adventure began in the beautiful Port of Everglades, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

We followed the steps specified in the Celebrity Cruises App, and the access to the cruise was relatively quick and easy.

The security staff asked us for the requirements to access, which were indicated in advance by email and notified in our App. The control was functional; in our experience, we did not do almost anything in line since the boat indicated the suggested time to board, so we accessed the boat easily and quickly.

We were warmly welcomed in our Stateroom with a bottle of sparkling wine, and our 10-day journey in the Caribbean began from our balcony in our stateroom with a breathtaking sunset.

Nassau, Bahamas

I always wanted to visit the beautiful country of the Bahamas. I saw the beautiful island in reality shows, magazine articles, and movies, and it always seemed like a charming country with unreal turquoise colors. We were fortunate to visit Nassau, a lovely port with distinctive houses in beautiful colors and beautiful landscapes. We visited the beautiful island of Blue Lagoon, where at first the weather seemed cloudy, but it gave a drastic change, and we had a beautiful sunny day. I was surprised by how much care they take for aquatic animals. I met my new friend Dave’s Travel Corner, where we had an interesting talk about our journey as Travel Bloggers. I was very grateful to know this beautiful port that I am sure to visit again in the future.

Back in the Celebrity Millenium, the day ended with a beautiful three-course dinner at Luminae Restaurant. Between laughs and drinks, we talked about the adventure of the day and our next destination: Puerto Rico.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

I admire this destination and respect its interesting history and culture. It was fascinating to discover the town of Old San Juan, similar to my parents’ town: Mazatlan, Mexico

We explored Old San Juan, which I found very protected and interesting. I was surprised by the beautiful architecture and the people’s positive energy. I had almost no photographs at this destination - I focused on appreciating and listening, as well as Christmas shopping.

Back in our stateroom, I decided to stretch my body with a routine from the Goop program. We followed by enjoying a delicious dinner at my favorite restaurant on the cruise.

St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

The following day, we woke up in the beautiful port of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

In this port, I took the opportunity to fly my drone, relax in the pool, and enjoy the sunny day.

St. Johns, Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua! I loved this country! I remember hearing about this country during school in my childhood, and it was very interesting to me. I can summarise my visit on a sunny day, with beautiful beaches and beautiful people. I felt like I needed that time to enjoy a day at the sea and disconnect; St. Johns was the perfect place. We ate delicious lobsters, and I had a spectacular beer. The truth is that I do not remember very well the names of the beaches we visited. I only remember that I had an excellent time on the beautiful beaches of this country, where I hope to return in the future.

The day ended with a beautiful sunset, a delicious dinner accompanied by some exquisite drinks, and a magnificent theatre play on the cruise ship.

During this trip, I decided to focus on living the moment fully; for this reason, I did not attend many events with my camera, and I simply enjoyed them.

Basseterre, St Kitts & Nevis

The first thing that struck me in this country is that they drive British-style vehicles. I find it interesting that cars are driven on the right side in many Caribbean countries. I had not witnessed anything like this for years.

The country seemed very friendly to me, from what I witnessed, tourism is of great importance to this country, so it is doing its best to receive future tourists.

The Retreat Lounge at Celebrity Millenium

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

I was excited to visit the famous beach in this country: Maho Beach (on the Dutch side of the island).

I saw it in movies and visual media, the famous Princess Juliana Airport (SXM), where planes land very close to this famous beach.

I must emphasize that the beach was not that comfortable if you are looking for a sense of a quiet place.

However, it was exciting to see so many people gathered to experience the arrival of the planes.

In 1648, the country was divided into two sides: the French (Saint Martin) and the Dutch (Sint Maarten).

The French and Dutch sides of the island are pretty different, but both Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten are delightful in their unique way. There's no border patrol, customs, or fences between the two independently governed territories.

We enjoyed a great day at the beach and explored a part of the Dutch side of the island, taking the opportunity to stop at a jewelry store and buy Christmas gifts to take home. It was fascinating to tour the island and discover its exciting history.

While onboard, we experienced the "goop" program, we received an itinerary to participate in the exciting sessions the ambassadors gave. Thanks to Deganit Nuur and Drea Wheeler for some great spirituality and luxury fitness sessions during the cruise.

I cannot conclude this article without thanking the fantastic team at Celebrity Millenium for their excellent performance at all times. From restaurants, entertainment, butler service, and all the attentive staff provided quality service during our stay. I also thank the exciting people I met during the cruise and I hope we will cross paths again.

Traveling on a cruise has been a wonderful experience. It was an enriching adventure in many ways. For me, the sunsets are the most beautiful in this world. It was a great fortune to enjoy this trip with my mother’s company, who was attentive to every situation at all times. I came home happy to see my loved ones, spend the holidays with them, and tell them about my memorable journey with Celebrity Cruises. It was my first cruise, and I am pleased to have had a great experience. Thank you, Celebrity team, for giving me the confidence and opportunity to team up for this collaboration.

To book with them, simply visit the Celebrity Cruises website, where you will find all the information you need to plan your next adventure.

Cheers for a new year with health, travel, and beautiful memories!
