Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon

During my recent trip to Europe, I traveled for a few days to Lisbon, Portugal. It was my first time visiting Portugal, a country I had on my bucket list to discover.

My route was Paris-Madrid-Lisbon. After enjoying a few phenomenal days in Paris during fashion week, and a few days in Madrid and Barcelona getting to know the country’s beautiful architecture, it was Lisbon’s turn.

The team warmly received me at the majestic Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, and surprisingly I was not questioned by my name. My Portuguese language is not very good, but that did not impede me from enjoying spectacular days in such a beautiful city. The attentive staff kindly recognized me; they were cautious and made my check-in very friendly.

The view from my room was beautiful, decorated 1950s style, with stunning city views, a full marble bathroom, the most comfortable bed (if you follow me, you know that I love Four Seasons’ bedding) and the best service at all times!

Later in the night, I had a reservation to attend CURA. All the staff was amicable and attentive all time. Special thanks to the Chef, Pedro Pena Bastos, sommelier Mário Marques, and the excellent team who worked hard to make the most enjoyable experience. My menu selection was MEIA-CURA, an eight-course menu. My pairing was an exquisite red wine Quinta da Caldeirinha, 2015, from Portugal: IT WAS PHENOMENAL. The dishes were acclaimed in my Instagram posts since the presentation was superb.

Between many schedule changes, flights, and more, I was ready to rest for a while and be prepared to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon for the next few days.

Here are my favourite activities at The Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon:
The In-door Pool, the Veranda Restaurant for breakfast, the terrace for a panoramic 360 view of Lisbon, the Four Seasons Mobile App, the Lobby and the attentive Room Service!

I used the Four Seasons mobile app to ask for things to do for sightseeing around the city.

They recommended that I visit the Baixa Chiado area, an excellent location to find several shops, attractions, and coffee shops, which I highly recommend.

I felt like Portugal has fascinating architecture and history; the city is picturesque!

Lisbon’s streets are for walking (in my preference). The people I met were friendly and kind. I decided to use the English language to communicate, but Spanish was very well accepted on many occasions since it borders the country of Spain.

I highly recommend having lunch at Café a Brasileira. The drinks were great, and the desserts were phenomenal; don’t forget to eat ‘pastéis de nata’ during your trip to Lisbon.

I think I was very well accepted. I received project proposals in Portugal just landing in my country, which I hope to happen soon.
