Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel

I have always loved London's beautiful and loud city, but this time I had the opportunity to get to know a more quiet side of England. I'm talking about the countryside, I spent a few days at the Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel.

I live by the saying “visit a place just for a few days to make you want to go back again”, and for sure, I definitely want to stay at Four Seasons Hampshire again and again.

The drive from London to Hampshire (the hotel’s location) is approximately 50 minutes by car. The road is relatively calm, and I was happy to enjoy England's infrastructure and pretty scenery on the way.

When I began sharing my Instagram stories about arriving at the location, I received very interesting and always positive comments regarding the hotel's history.

Set in a restored 18th-century manor on 500 acres of picturesque grounds outside London, Hampshire seamlessly blends legacy and heritage with 21st-century modernity.

Many locals say that Hampshire is a lovely place that the royals like to pass the time in, and seeing the place, I’m pretty sure that is not far from the truth; this destination is worthy of any royal.

The perfect getaway for country activities will keep you busy during your visit. Discover the local gems here.

My favourite activities during my stay were cycling, spending a good morning at the tennis court, having tea and visiting the comfortable spa. Other activities that are very common are hiking, falconry, cycling, tennis, and birdwatching.

As for the immensity of the hotel, it has 133 guest rooms, 22 of which are suites and gardens spread throughout the 500 acres of parkland.

The Wild Carrot restaurant was spectacular. The 'Scottish salmon tartare' was one of my favourite dishes, the freshness and quality of the ingredients were palatable at every bite, and their superb sommelier will find the best pair for your dinner. Desserts are a must at dinner for me, so imagine how amazed I was by realizing Four Seasons Hampshire has the best lava cake I’ve ever tasted.

The staff was amicable and attentive at all times. I visited this restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and both settings were exquisite at all times.

I want to thank the excellent staff of Four Seasons Hampshire for making this stay unforgettable, and I hope to stay at this magnificent hotel again in the future!
